Alcoa Siding

Alcoa Siding

In 2006, Alcoa siding became part of Ply Gem Industries with the sale of Alcoa Home Exteriors to Ply Gem. Based in Kearney, Missouri, Ply Gem manufactures and markets a variety of products for the residential home new construction and renovation markets. Ply Gem's product line includes siding, windows, doors, stone veneer, fencing, and railing products.

Alcoa siding joins a number of siding brands that are now part of Ply Gem's family of siding products. Brands under the Ply Gem umbrella include:

  • Mastic Home Exteriors,
  • Variform,
  • Napco,
  • Georgia-Pacific,
  • Cellwood,
  • Durabuilt,
  • United Stone Veneer, and
  • Kroy.

The former Alcoa siding products are now sold by Ply Gem under the Mastic Home Exteriors brand name. There are two product offerings that fall into the siding category that was originally part of the Alcoa siding line:

  • Performance Metals Envoy Aluminum Siding and
  • Performance Metals Endurance Aluminum Siding.

Performance Metals Envoy Aluminum Siding is constructed from extremely hard aluminum and is rated to withstand wind speeds of up to 165 miles per hour. This siding product needs no painting and requires little maintenance; it is also covered by a limited lifetime warranty. Specific siding choices in the Envoy line include single 8" panels, double 4" panels, and double 5" panels. Finish options available include straight smooth and straight wood grain.

Performance Metals Endurance Aluminum Siding is available in 8 color choices. Like the Envoy siding products, Endurance products are rated to withstand wind speeds of up to 165 miles per hour and also feature a limited lifetime warranty. Product variations include a double 4" and a double 5" Dutch lap; finishes include straight wood grain and Dutch lap wood grain.

For both of the Envoy and Endurance former Alcoa siding products, trim and finishing products such as soffits, gutters, and downspouts are available. Trim products are covered by the same type of limited lifetime warranties as are the regular siding products.
